Gus Hansen:

Also known as The Great Dane, has won $1,805,876 in prize money. Moreover he is the winner of three World Poker Tour events. Born in Denmark, Gus Hansen is a world-class player. Even as a youngster he played lots of sports indoor as well as outdoor. Sports like Tennis, Table as well as Lawn, and soccer improved his aggressive style; and Chess and Backgammon stirred his acute mental drive. His super aggressive style has allowed him to play in 5 final tables. The People Magazine has called him “the Sexiest Poker Player”. He likes to play the highest limits games in Las Vegas.

Barry Greenstein:

Sometimes giving means receiving. He is known to be one of the most generous players in the Poker Industry. This WPT champion has donated all his $1,473,133 in charity to an International Non Governmental Organization that sponsors children across the world. This Computer Science graduate has a PhD in Mathematics, and makes a living by playing Larry Flynt’s game at the Hustler Casino.

Erick Lindgren:

“Once a gambler always a Gambler”. This popular player has made $1,560,568 in prize money. The gambling bug caught him while he was but a young lad in a small mountain town in California, where he would bet on small feats with his friends. As a young man he used to play Football and Basketball, when he turned his attention to gambling. He got a job as a blackjack dealer when at the age of 19. While working at the casino, he learned to play Poker. At 27, being the youngest of the young champions he has made $2 million in poker money besides appearing at 4 World Poker Tour final tables. 

Paul Phillips:

Winner of several tournaments all over the US and Europe, with total cash prize exceeding $2.2 million , he has great business sense as well. He was also known as the Dot Com guy. Before retiring at 36, he worked as Chief Technical Officer for a company called Go2Net.com. He sold off his stock when the IT market was at its peak and made a little fortune for himself. When not busy writing or playing in big Buy-in tournaments, he likes to toy with Phil Hellmuth Jr. Although, this is one poker player he admires the most.

Howard Lederer:

Known as “The Professor” owing to his demeanor and analytical style, has bagged two World Poker Tour events and finished third on another final table. His last prize money was $614,250. He is a part of the design team of an online poker website called Full-Tilt Poker. He is the one who made the we-known instructional poker video ,called ‘The Secrets of No Limit Hold'em’ and also runs his own Poker Camps. In addition, he co-hosts a poker show run by the firm, Fox Broadcasting.
